Celebrating Creators and Artists

The Artist Alley is one of the centerpieces of any great convention, and at Taiyou Con, artists in the Artist Alley can showcase their art, crafts, clothing, comics and more to Taiyou Con's attendees in the vendor hall. Artists now have the option to choose the following of two types of Artist Alley tables:

Regular Artist Alley Table : one free convention badge, a skirted 8' x 2.5' table and two chairs. Up to two additional badges may be purchased.

Premium Artist Alley Table :  Additional space behind your table for bigger displays and equipment; one free convention badge, a skirted 8' x 2.5' table and two chairs. Up to two additional badges may be purchased.

NEW FEATURE! - You pick your own table location at the time of purchase. The earlier you purchase your table, the more choices you have for your location. Please refer to map by clicking on the "brochure icon" or going to the image gallery.

NEW FEATURE! - If tables are sold out on Yapsody, you may sign up for the notification list. Our servers will automatically send an email every time a table becomes available on Yapsody.

Additional Information

Eligibility
The Artist Alley is a venue reserved for amateur artists and craftsmen interested in showcasing and selling their art and items in a public setting. It's a great opportunity to meet other artists and share your creations. The sale or resale of commercial merchandise is strictly prohibited. Tracing and recoloring another's artwork is theft.This is also strictly prohibited.

Table Fees
Artist Alley tables are $130 each + tax + surcharge (Premium at $160 + tax +surcharge). Each table will come with one free convention badge, a skirted 8' x 2.5' table and two chairs. A maximum of two tables can be purchased per artist. If additional badges are needed, the artist can purchase up to two additional badges for a discounted rates. Additional badges must be purchased at full event price. While a table may have multiple artists, only one representative from that table should submit the registration form. Payments must be paid in full (no partial payments by multiple parties). You may ONLY purchase up to 2 tables. The artist alley manager will be ensuring that no artist has more than 2 tables. Breaking this rule will result in forfeit of table(s) without refund.

Refund Deadline
Artist Alley tables can be refunded in full 75 days before the first day of the convention. After the deadline, we will be unable to refund your purchase.

Please refer to the Artist Alley packet on our website to comply with all rules and requirements that artists must follow in order to participate in the Artist Alley.

IMPORTANT: Not responsible for lost or stolen eConfirmations. Scan at Artist Alley check in. Do not scan at regular registration for attendees. Up to 2 tables per artist may be purchased. More than 2 tables will result in forfeit of table(s) without refund. Artists may not "give" their table to another artist. All purchases and cancellation must go through the Yapsody system. No exceptions.
